Suneta Bagri helps teachers and senior leaders in education gain clarity and focus, build confidence and take control of their wellbeing, so they can start (or continue) living a fulfilled life, regardless of how busy and overwhelmed they are.
As a former Head teacher herself, helping teachers & school leaders to navigate their way to a mindful lifestyle is something she is incredibly passionate about. In this overwhelming arena, she knows it can be challenging to manage your own mental, physical, and emotional health. Having experienced the education sector for twenty years as a teacher, and senior leader, Suneta took to managing wellbeing as her own priority to survive the challenges of the profession. Now, as an educator, coach, public speaker and consultant with over twenty years’ experience, she offers specialised programmes and training which enhance personal and professional performance.
Suneta is trained and certified as a Leadership and Wellbeing Coach, First Aid for Mental Health Instructor, a Mindfulness Teacher, Health Champion and is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching.
Her passion for learning developed at a young age. She was raised by immigrant parents whose priority was to keep a roof over the family and food on the table, meaning that getting a good education was secondary. She fought for the privilege of an education, supported by her siblings, and discovered a love of learning that has carried her through her entire life. From a young age, she became very interested in personal development and used these learnings to improve her own skills as a teacher. As a leader, she then shared these vital tools with her team members and applied Coaching methodology to implement a culture of school improvement which kept wellbeing at the heart.
She firmly believes that education is a gift, and to be able to support teachers with their personal growth and development means continuing to have a positive impact upon future generations. When teachers look after themselves and take care of their own needs, then they can be genuinely effective in the classroom.
Alongside running her award-winning business Cultivate Coaching & Consultancy & The Every Teacher Matters Project, she actively contributes and campaigns towards teacher retention. She is passionate about teacher training and works as a part-time Teaching Fellow and Lecturer at Birmingham City University. She is an Associate Partner to Steve Waters at the Teach Well Alliance, Associate Coach at Leadership Edge and Associate Consultant at Education Support (the only UK charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of education staff in schools, colleges and universities).
Suneta continues to work in schools providing leadership support, coaching and consultancy.
As a busy working mother of three, she fully understands and appreciates the pressure teachers are under to find that work-life balance. Her coaching sessions & training cover both personal and professional development, dealing with issues such as anxiety, stress, self-doubt and imposter syndrome.
Working with Suneta, you will be supported by an outstanding teacher with extensive knowledge and experience who considers your wellbeing and professional development to be of paramount importance.
Whether you are an individual or a school, she provides a safe and confidential space to grow, whether you decide to embark upon her Coaching programmes, join the Every Teacher Matters Network, undertake MHFA Training or Consultancy, you will be guaranteed an excellent service and results which have lasting impact
